KEMBANG TUJUH RUPA (2024)
Jakarta Fashion Week 2025 (Dewi Fashion Knights)

A Joyous Celebration of Purification

Kembang Tujuh Rupa unfolds from a sacred moment of pause, the quiet before transformation begins.

Inspired by Siraman, a traditional Javanese pre-wedding ritual, the collection reflects the act of cleansing as both intimate and profound. In the ceremony, the bride is bathed in holy water infused with seven types of flowers, accompanied by prayers from her family. It is a gesture of purification, renewal, and preparation before entering a new chapter of life.

This ritual becomes the emotional foundation of the collection.

Deep, expressive colours meet layered textures, echoing the complexity of renewal itself. Never instant, always intentional. Each silhouette carries the sense of ritual in motion, where fabric, form, and detail come together in quiet harmony.

Through intricate embroidery, elaborate embellishments, and three-dimensional craftsmanship, STUDIO JEJE translates tradition into contemporary expression. Every piece is crafted with devotion, honoring process as much as beauty.

“With Kembang Tujuh Rupa, we wanted to weave the essence of Javanese culture into a modern language,”
“It is about celebrating purification, not as an ending, but as a beginning filled with vibrancy and hope.”

Kembang Tujuh Rupa is a reminder that renewal is a journey.
One that asks us to slow down, to cleanse, and to step forward with intention.

Before a new beginning, there is a cleansing.

Kembang Tujuh Rupa is rooted in ritual,
in water touched by prayer,
in flowers chosen with intention,
in the quiet pause before transformation.

Inspired by Siraman, a sacred Javanese pre-wedding ceremony, this collection reflects the act of purification as something tender and powerful. Seven flowers, infused in water, become symbols of release. Of what is carried, washed away, and reborn.

Colour runs deep.
Textures layer like memory.
Every surface holds movement, devotion, and time.

This is a celebration of renewal. Not as a moment, but as a process.

Through embroidery, elaborate embellishment, and three-dimensional craftsmanship, STUDIO JEJE translates ritual into form. Each piece becomes an offering: carefully constructed, deeply felt, and rich with meaning.

“Kembang Tujuh Rupa speaks of purification.”
“It is about honoring the process before becoming.
Cleansing, preparing, and stepping forward with intention.”

Here, renewal is not loud.
It is luminous.
It unfolds slowly,

stitch by stitch,

flower by flower.
